A cooperative garden in public space; "putting permaculture into practice". (Permaculture is: perennial, edible agriculture that builds natural & human communities) Volunteers work in the garden at least once a week, and produce is shared with the community in various ways. The garden is a pleasing green space on a noisy street, inviting folks to sit, walk, exercise, or help out for rejuvenation.
